JK 2011+ Security Rear Half Console

This 16 gauge steel rear half console provides 75% more secure storage than the plastic factory console. A special bracket is included for mounting a stereo, CB or other electronic equipment inside the lockable console. Inside the storage area there is a handy removable utility tray. Tuffy’s 1/4” thick patented Pry-Guard II latching system secures the lid shut while a gas strut supports the lid when open.

The 2011+ JK Rear Half Console is used in conjunction with the front half of the factory console. It includes rear drink holders, but does not replace the original factory front cup holders. The console is taller than the OEM model and features a more comfortable full length padded armrest.

The lid easily hinges open and is secured shut using an innovative latching system. The lid and front can be easily removed without tools so larger items can be transported when required. This system allows you to run up to 33" tires with excellent road manners and no driveline modifications. Our front track bar correction system maintains perfect steering geometry with the drag link and drop pitman arm combination. Why would you lift your Wrangler TJ and not correct the steering geometry? That is the most important area to address when lifting a vehicle. These systems feature our revolutionary independent 3 link front end with track bar. This design dominates the professional world of rock crawling while also maintaining perfect streetabiliy and precise handling. The upper control arm is full length so caster change is kept to a minimum. The front upper bushing in the differential is replaced with a build a ball joint for maximum articulation. Even the tinniest of details has been addressed with the X Factor Plus systems. The method we use to mount the coil over shocks up front greatly enhances the overall stability of the TJ so greater off camber challenges look easy. The rear end features a triangulated 4 link assembly that allows removal of the rear track bar for awesome articulation. The rear 4 links push the rear axle back providing you with approximately 102" wheel base. The lower control arms feature a high clearance design to maximize ground clearance and cross over angles. The lower control arms are made of 2” solid alloy steel and use a Monster Bushing at the frame connection and Monster Krawler Joint at the axle connection to provide the ultimate in twist! Our modular skid plate design actually clam shells the frame top and bottom with no side drilling required. This adds structure to that frame! With the 3 piece construction; servicing of the driveline is a snap and does not involve any suspension modifications. The frame rail members can be bolted in or welded on. For added rear axle structure a weld in cradle and tie in plate made from ¼” thick laser cut steel is used! This security deck enclosure creates a large and lockable storage area completely protected on all sides. It works in conjunction with the vehicle rear door and lock (power lock switches become disabled after approximately 16 seconds when locking doors with the key fob).

The lid easily hinges open and is secured shut using an innovative latching system (Patent Pending). The lightweight .090 aluminum lid and front can be easily removed without tools so larger items can be transported when required. The unique lid design is constructed from structural welded aluminum which incorporates a large weight bearing tray for organizing and transporting items on top. The heavy duty mounting system is constructed using heavy duty 1/8” thick powder coated steel incorporating heavy duty fasteners.

Quickly and easily installs with standard hand tools in both 2 and 4 door models with and without an OEM hardtop. It will work in vehicles equipped with or without the subwoofer and functions with the OEM compartment cover or the Tuffy Cubby Cover Part#143. Tray has external drain holes to prevent puddling moisture. 2-door rear seat can still be used with mounting system installed and it can be stowed folded and tumbled with the deck enclosure installed (See assembly document instructions for limitations).
